I'd like to welcome you to our wonderful school, located in a beautiful rural setting in the town of Berlin, Massachusetts.  Our school has approximately 215 students from grades pre-K-6.  Our school contains one integrated pre-school program, two free full-day kindergartens, and two of each classroom in grades 1-6.  Class sizes are small, affording our students a great deal of individual attention from our warm and caring staff.  In addition, we offer a variety of support services for children with special needs, an enrichment program for students who demonstrate advanced thinking and problem-solving skills, and the specials – art, music, physical education and library/technology.

     At BMS, our core values are to respect others and ourselves, be responsible for ourselves, actions, and our things, learn something new every day, and always do your best.  We are very proud of all of our students for the efforts they make each day as they grow as learners and community members. 

     In addition to our solid academic program, our students have an opportunity to participate in numerous school activities including plays and musical productions, chorus, band, Literacy Night, the Art Show, Nature’s Classroom, sports, student council, field day, and field trips.  We are very fortunate to be able to offer so much to our students.  We also have a parent-teacher organization (LINK, Inc.), a school council, and a support-informational group called SEPAC, for parents of students with special needs.  Many of our activities are largely supported by our community and we are grateful to them for all that has been made available to us.  There is also an after-school program available here at BMS that runs concurrent with the school days.
